With two locations to choose from, we offer a variety of dining options! At Buddha’s Favorite, our flagship restaurant, you can enjoy dining on our lively patio, sushi bar, or cozy inside tables. Our patio has both high-top and low-top tables. All our outdoor seating is along the waterfront boardwalk located on the Lido Peninsula. As the sun sets, our ambient cafe lights appear to make for a romantic scene for a date night, a possible proposal (yes, that has happened more than once!), or an evening out with friends. You will listen to nostalgic 80’s or Disco music as you feast on your favorite nigiri, sashimi, or rolls! Try our Omakase, chef’s choice, for a truly special experience. We also offer Dock n’ Dine service at Buddha’s Favorite. Call ahead to reserve our dock space and we will serve you on your boat. A great way to set the atmosphere for a memorable meal!
Just around the corner is our sister restaurant, lil’ Buddha’s. Here we offer the same great menu with seating for 10 people inside. In addition, this location has some “exclusive” menu items, such as the wagyu teriyaki burger, a chicken katsu sandwich, a bento box, and more. We also produce all of our take-out and delivery orders here. Yes! We have Delivery! When you visit lilbuddhas.com, there is an option at the top for “Pickup”. If you press on it, you can then choose “Delivery.” Now here is something most people do not know. Restaurants hesitate to use delivery services because of the high percentage they take from each order. Plus, not only do all of the tips go to the delivery driver but most restaurants are forced to raise their prices on the delivery sites by about 20%. Therefore, the customer is paying more than necessary if they plan on picking up their food anyway. The best option for ordering take-out is to go through the restaurant directly if possible. As for delivery, since we use the POS system, TOAST, there is an option for delivery through our website that does not push us to raise the prices online. Instead, there is only an $8 delivery fee and ironically, the delivery service they use is Doordash. lil’ Buddha’s is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week!
Besides our fresh sushi and roll options, we have something for everyone at both locations! We offer a variety of vegetarian and non-fish options. At Buddha’s Favorite, we offer yakisoba noodles, udon noodles, or donburi bowls with the choice of steak or chicken. lil’ Buddha’s has an “exclusive” menu that includes 3 types of ramen, and a chicken katsu sandwich! Available at both locations are our 3 types of chicken; crispy, sesame, and, my favorite, crispy sesame chicken.
