Buddha’s Favorite Sushi sits secretly tucked away on the docks in Newport Beach. The outdoor dining atmosphere is casual, with a softly lit, romantic patio overlooking the bay, while our sushi bar inside is lively authentic experience. Our menu offers a wide range of Japanese appetizers, sushi and entrees, including our popular Yoshi’s Spring Roll and Backflip Roll. Every dish from our kitchen is made from the freshest ingredients and family recipes all the way from Yoshi’s mom’s restaurant in Japan. Providing the highest quality sushi is our priority and in order to do so we have fish flown in from all over the world daily.
WATERFRONT PATIO DINING
Our outside patio, on the docks, sits facing the bay, beautiful for sunsets and date nights. We can accommodate large groups. Heaters and comfy blankets are provided for colder California evenings.
INDOOR SUSHI BAR + SEATING
Our indoor seating gets cozy. Sit at our 10 seat sushi bar and experience the culture of Buddha’s Favorite Sushi and an authentic sushi bar experience. Order your favorites or chat with our chefs to see what they recommend.

Buddha’s Favorite offers patio, inside and sushi bar dining. Reservations are primarily required! We offer Dock and Dine and Boat parking also but by reservation only.

We do our best to seat you at the time of your reservation but there still may be a wait after your reservation time. We are asking to please limit your dining time to a maximum of 2 hours.
